Accessing Tax Return PDF Documents – Instructions for Customers

For your security and privacy, the PDF is encrypted with a password. Please follow the instructions below to open the file.

To open the PDF, enter a password that is a combination of the following (typed all together, no spaces or dashes):

  1. Your SSN (or company EIN) – without dashes
  2. Your city of residence – exactly as it appears on your tax return, all lowercase, no spaces
  3. Your 5-digit ZIP code – no dashes or spaces

Password Format Example:

If your SSN is 123-45-6789, your city is Rio De Janeiro, and your ZIP code is 11111,

your password will be: 123456789riodejaneiro11111

Note: If your tax return does not include a ZIP code, your password will consist of only SSN + city.
